Sewer repairs – without demolition.

Leaks inside or outside your residence are often caused by aging or damaged sewers and drains. In the past, the only option for repairing a leak was to tear down the wall, floor or ceiling in question and make the faulty pipe accessible for replacement. Spraycoating and relining offer a method of repairing these pipes without any demolition or teardowns in many cases, from cast iron to lead to even newly installed PVC pipes.

Even a shower drain opening or sink can often provide sufficient access to repair leaks from within the pipe itself. Our materials can access pipes starting from dn 40mm to repair leaks from the inside out, ensuring that we can prevent demolition and teardowns while still leaving your home completely leak-free.

Relining

An overview of how relining utilizing the 'sock' method is used to renovate a sewer pipe without demolishing or breaking open walls and floors.

In pipes with a diameter of dn 75mm or larger that stretch for many meters, we can opt to apply a technique known as ‘relining’. Utilising this technology, De Mol IROTS can create a new hardened inner lining to the pipe, allowing us to repair not only worn or damaged pipes, but even pipe connections that have come loose. This technique is comparable to placing a new pipe within the existing sewer system.

Spraycoating

A simplified view of how sewer renovations can utilize spraycoating to prevent needing direct access to the pipe in question for traditional replacement.

Our spraycoating techniques allows us to apply a custom designed coating layer on the inside of the sewer or drain system; from standing pipes to shower drains to repair and prevent leaks with an expected lifespan of 50 years. The newly applied layer creates a watertight closure of:

Drilling holes
Broken pipes
Oxidized or eroded pipes
Faulty pipe connections

Quick-Locks are, simply put, a very high qualitya patented part-liner system that is not only utilized in repairs, but additionally boasts extremely high protective qualities. We utilize Quick-Locks to rapidly repair sewers with 100% infiltration and exfiltration protection.

Restoring different materials

De Mol IROTS can repair, restore and renovate sewer and drain pipes of near any material – both in square pipes and round ones. In the 50s and 60s of the 20th century, many buildings were outfitted with cast iron and asbestos-concrete pipelines; even these older pipes can be fully renovated fully from within the pipe itself utilising our state of the art renovation techniques, saving you the headache and cost of demolishing all connected walls and floors to remove the pipes the traditional way.
